Ansys engaged ASTOUND to design and deliver a dynamic booth experience for CES 2025 that would elevate their presence, deepen audience engagement, and showcase the power of simulation in real-world automotive applications. With CES drawing a broad range of attendees, from executives to engineers to general consumers, Ansys needed a versatile, high-impact environment that spoke to each audience segment while reflecting their mission of "Powering Innovation That Drives Human Advancement."
Challenge
Ansys challenged ASTOUND to create a booth that went beyond conventional displays. They needed interactive activations that could effectively demonstrate how their simulation software powers innovation in the automotive industry. Adding complexity, the experience had to align with three unique attendee profiles — executives, engineers, and general CES attendees — each requiring a tailored journey within the booth. From hospitality to storytelling, every interaction needed to reflect Ansys’ brand and deliver impact.
Solution
ASTOUND approached the project with a deeply strategic and user-centric mindset, beginning with collaborative discovery sessions to understand Ansys’ priorities, audience needs, and brand DNA. Our solution combined bold architecture, immersive digital storytelling, and personalized engagement across a multi-zoned footprint.
We mapped distinct attendee pathways into the design: a VIP experience for executives featuring private soundproofed meeting rooms, hospitality lounges, and personalized check-in with photo ID; a discovery track for engineers with breakout demo areas and AR-powered insights into vehicle performance; and a public interactive space for general attendees with transparent digital displays, partner vehicles, and gesture-based product storytelling. Every activation spoke directly to Ansys’ core value: enabling innovation through simulation.
Swag and hospitality weren't afterthoughts; they were purpose-built touchpoints. From regionally themed catering tied to partner brands to thoughtful, sustainable giveaways, every detail was curated to extend the Ansys story and reinforce the experience.
OUTCOME
The response from Ansys was immediate and enthusiastic. Not only did we win the RFP, but the client praised ASTOUND’s process as the most strategic and comprehensive among all vendors. They called out our ability to translate complex needs into a cohesive and compelling booth design that checked every box in their brief. As a result, Ansys has since extended their partnership with ASTOUND, awarding us additional event programs across 2025. This project didn't just meet expectations — it opened the door for long-term collaboration rooted in innovation, precision, and storytelling that moves.
