Exotec partnered with ASTOUND to streamline lead capture at their industry tradeshows. They needed a solution that was fast, reliable, and eliminated the friction of manual data entry — all while integrating seamlessly into their existing CRM. 

Challenge

Exotec approached ASTOUND with a clear ask: create a lead capture system that could keep pace with booth traffic, eliminate manual errors, and connect directly to Salesforce. Tradeshow moments are short, and every second counts. They needed a tool that would simplify their process, scale with event demand, and keep their team focused on conversations, not keyboards. 

Solution

ASTOUND custom designed and deployed ENGAUGE, a custom lead capture app tailored to Exotec’s exact requirements. Built with a QR-scan-to-submit flow, ENGAUGE enabled booth staff to scan attendee badges, auto-fill data into custom forms, and submit leads with a single tap. Real-time Salesforce integration ensured each lead was instantly logged into their CRM, ready for follow-up. And because no show floor is perfect, we added offline sync — ensuring lead data was never at risk, even in low-connectivity environments. 

Outcome

ENGAUGE helped Exotec capture over 1000+ leads across just two events, with Salesforce integration saving the team an estimated 40+ hours in manual data entry. More importantly, the intuitive interface allowed staff to focus on meaningful conversations and data-driven wins instead of clunky tech.
