Publicis was in need of a reliable and high-quality fabrication partner to execute the unique mall pop-up activation for fruity pebbles.

The activation required a durable surrounding build structure to house the various activities while also instilling a sense of mystery and exclusivity within the middle of the popular mall.

Through several rounds of research and development, ASTOUND value engineered the original design package to better suit the materials and construction of the proposed structure.

Given the nature of the pool noodle component, we proposed CNC-cut panels for the noodles to fit tightly into as opposed to adhesives or SEG fabric walls which were less durable and less compatible with the intended result. Color was a key element to liven up the space for the young audience, so bold colours and graphics were incorporated inside and outside the space to draw in participants. The back wall was dedicated to Pebbles Playground merchandise that the participants could purchase using tokens they earned from each activity.
