Background

Twilio, a leader in cloud communications, sought to make a significant impact at ShopTalk with a dynamic 10x20 booth. Their goal was to showcase their innovative spirit, attract attention, and engage attendees through unique, interactive experiences that would elevate their brand visibility and connect with potential clients and partners.

Challenge

Twilio faced the deeper challenge of standing out in a crowded and competitive event space at ShopTalk. Beyond creating an eye-catching booth, they needed to break through the noise and engage attendees in a meaningful way that reflected their innovative brand. This involved not only capturing attention but also driving deep engagement, converting interactions into valuable leads, and seamlessly integrating their technological identity into the booth experience. The challenge was to create a memorable and impactful presence that resonated with attendees long after the event.​

Solution

We transformed Twilio's vision into a captivating booth experience by incorporating key features such as a relocated 3D logo, an additional demo counter, and the innovative 'Text-to-Smoothie' experience. To deepen engagement, we developed the "Scavengr" app, which gamified the attendee experience with branded challenges, lead capture, and real-time analytics, seamlessly blending Twilio's technology with interactive fun.

Outcome

The booth was a resounding success, attracting significant attention and engaging visitors effectively. The combination of the smoothie stand and the "Scavengr" app led to 42% of users completing all tasks, generating 358 unique leads, and over 200 total engagements. The overwhelmingly positive feedback from both attendees and Twilio underscored the effectiveness of our design and engagement strategies, significantly enhancing Twilio's brand presence at ShopTalk.
